1,2,3,...8?

o today they hoisted the Typhoon no. 8 Warning, which is just above 3. This also means if the same conditions persist until tomorrow there is no school. That also means most public transit is shut down, and McDonald's wont deliver.



At this point, although I am experiencing a typhoon first hand, I actually don't know what formally constitutes a Typhoon. So I looked it up.


"A Pacific typhoon or tropical storm is a tropical cyclone that forms in the northwestern Pacific Ocean." (via Wikipedia.org)

That would explain the wind and rain...So far I have direct contact with Swine Flu and a Typhoon.
